Why am I having trouble setting up my Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca) email?

The preinstalled Email app in the Cruz devices cannot configure an account automatically with the Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca) mail servers. The correct email server settings are posted below for reference in setting up the account manually.

Password: The password with which you usually use to sign in to Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca)

POP3, IMAP, or Exchange: POP3
Username: Your Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca) email address
Password: The password with which you usually use to sign in to Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca)
POP3 server: pophm.sympatico.ca
Port: 995
Security type: SSL
Delete email from server: Never

SMTP server: smtphm.sympatico.ca
Port: 25 (or 587 if port 25 does not work)
Security type: TLS
Require sign-in: checked
Username: Your Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca) email address
Password: The password with which you usually use to sign in to Bell Mail (Sympatico.ca)
